Mexican Cream Pasta

What is Mexican Cream Pasta? The white sauce pasta is one of the famous pasta that we Indians have adopted from the western world. It gets its texture from heavy cream and the occasional cheese that is utilized. The Mexican cusine on the other hand is known for its spice and savory nature. Well here, we are going to mix both, the creaminess and the Mexican spice to create the perfect blend: The Mexican Cream Pasta!

Ingredients required for Mexican White Sauce Pasta:

  • Penne Pasta: 100 grams
  • Paneer (Cottage cheese): 100 grams
  • Jalapenos: 1 diced
  • Butter: 50 grams
  • Milk: Half liter
  • Heavy Cream: 100 ml
  • Cheese: 150 Grams
  • Garlic (Powder) : 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika: 1 tea spoon
  • Olive Oil: 5 table spoon
  • Olives: 7-8, diced
  • All purpose flour: 2 teaspoon
  • Basil: 2-3 leaves
  • Mushroom: 50 grams
  • Sweet corn kernel: 50 grams
  • Oregano: To taste
  • Chill Flakes: To taste
  • Salt: To taste
  • Water: 2 liters


  • Boil the pasta in water with salt and olive oil
  • In a deep dish pan add the milk, heavy cream and cheese. Let it boil down and thicken to a creamy sauce
  • In another pan toss the vegetable and cottage cheese in olive oil (Do not add the jalapeno or olives here). Cook it until medium well done
  • In the creamy sauce add the garlic powder, oregano, chilli flakes, paprika and basil leaf
  • Add the tossed vegetables to the list
  • Toss in the penne pasta, mix well and serve
  • Garnish with chopped basil

The Mexican Cream Pasta is best complemented by butter garlic bread. Add a twist to this by adding green chillies to the mix as the spiciness of the chilli and sweetness from the cream is a perfect blend!
